Today we had a look at Hypergeometric probability. We used Stattrek.com's hypergeometric calculator and then you had time to work on this Hypergeometric Quest. On our double block day we'll be learning some new games, so be prepared!

Today we had a look at Reason Quest #5 (Draft Views). We also discussed some technicalities of how Coat of Arms works in our last reason quest. We settled on Thursday November 6th as our Draft Day, and then you had some more draft practice time:

Games Analysis: Tues Oct 21 - Draft Prep

 Today we had some time to do some draft prep. We had a look at the 10 colour pair archetypes for Foundations, and then you had time on the laptops to do some research into the top cards and draft strategies.

 Today we had a chance to work on Reason Quest #4 (Venn Diagrams). Then we had a look at some Optional Quests that you now have access to.

Games Analysis: Wed Oct 15 - Alt Win/Loss Quest Presentations

 Today we had our Alternate Win/Loss Quest presentations. Thanks to all who presented! After all the presentations, you had time to work on finishing building and testing your new deck.

Games Analysis: Tues Oct 14 - Deckbuilding and card picking

 Today we went over the ideas you need to consider when deckbuilding. After that, you got to sort through some cards and pick a bunch more to get yourselves up to a potential 100 card deck. Win & Loss condition presentations are tomorrow!

Games Analysis: Fri Oct 10 - Alt Win/Loss Con & Journal Catch up Time

 Today you had time to work on your Alt Win/Loss condition presentation; we'll do the presentations next Wednesday, so play accordingly. You also had some time to wrap up any journals from the week; next week we'll also get to do some deck building and card selecting!

 Today we started with a couple rounds of Pandemic; congrats to those who were able to save humanity! After break, we started the Alternate Win/Loss Quest (here's the list of options - we'll have the laptops again tomorrow).

 Today we worked on Reason Quest #3 - Coat of Arms. After that, we took some notes about Winning, Losing, and Tying a game of MtG. We finished with the rules of Pandemic (your homework is to research some strategy!)

 Today we fit in more Keyword ability presentations. We'll be playing Pandemic on Thursday AM, so your homework before then is to find a strategy/how-to-play video.

Games Analysis: Fri Oct 3 - Mulligans and Colour Options

 Today we had a look at Mulligans. After that we had a look at a Colour Combinations Reason Quest. We wrapped up by looking at this opening hand simulator.

 Today we had a look at a riddle whose solution demonstrated the power of Tree Diagrams. Then, a bunch of you did your Keyword Abilities Presentations (well done!). After break, a few more people learned/played Ticket-to-Ride, and we had some Quest & Game time!
